Went to the LSU vs. Alabama game on Saturday in Baton Rouge. A small group of 5 from down here made the trip. We also made our first trip to Walk-ons. This place is tight. The best oysters i've eaten in Baton Rouge, friendly service, and good looking waitresses. As soon as we got there we watched Saban's press conference on the big screen. Chatted with former LSU basketball walk-on Brandon Landry. Nice guy. Also spotted Jaime Llordea. Went up politely to Jaime and asked him to come and take a picture with our group. We sat down with us and shooted the shit. This guy is cool. I'm sure he's had a temper problem and all,,,,but he could have been an ass and just said he didn't feel like taking a picture with us,,,,,,etc. but he didn't. Big shot out to Jaimie Llordea and the staff at walk-ons!!!!! Had a great time.
I glad the service got better, b/c I have been then there twice, and the service and food was horrible.
I find it comparable to the Chimes. Even down to the same style high-back booths. The menu items are nearly a mirror of each other. Glad you got a pic with Jaime. I can remember back in the day when Clarence Caesar was playing. I could go to Sports any night and that dude was in there all tore up. I have a pic somewhere of me, my friend and a tore up Clarence at Sports. Classic!
Comparable to the Chimes in terms of atmosphere. But it is night and day with respect to quality of food. Chimes has some of the best food for the buck in baton rouge.
does jaime lloreda speak english well? i have no idea, just assumed he sounded like sammy sosa did years ago.
Jaime Lloreda Lo dudo, pero seria muy bueno si podemos agarrar otro jugador del ano. !Esto no ha pasado hasta 1992!:geaux:
