Interesting. The Tigers have a sort of "kill two birds with one stone"-type of opportunity here: to humble these people AND to give our national aspirations a boost by posting a big win on these people. It's time to do it.
Amazing one deep south state likes to hurl all the sterotypical deep south insults at another deep south state. You'd think Mississippi was never a part of the Confederacy or something.

I emailed a copy to CBS and the Governor of Mississippi (for a few more days anyway, and a graduate of ole miss) demanding an apology to the residents of Louisiana.

You SHOULD e-mail a copy of it to Nick Saban for pre-game posting in the LSU locker room. The dumb cluck who wrote this piece may have unwittingly handed Saban a motivational tool. :geaux: :lsug: :geaux:
Good idea, but I really don't think the Tigers need any motivating. Plus Nick is not all about that stuff anyway.
Yeah, well, what do you expect from a bunch of metrosexual Ole Siss males who think that Ashley Wilkes is the icon of Southern masculinity?
What you all are observing is a phenomenon that I, a resident of prime Ole Miss territory, have seen year-in-year-out. Rebel fans are more than a little defensive. They cannot resist the temptation to call names. It is as though they have a congenital inferiority complex.
