With the return of our incumbent starting point guard on Saturday, what are your thoughts on what he can bring to the team and what potential problems could arise from him coming late to the team? I think it all depends on whether the suspension has humbled him a bit or gave him a me-against-the-world attitude. Hopefully it is not the latter. I think that this suspension will end up being a benefit for Tack long term. There will surely be some growing pains in his first few games, but I heard that he spent the semester working out in Houston with former Spurs coach John Lucas. Lucas had his share of problems but got straightened out and I think Tack will learn from him. Remember, Lucas had to influence his son's game and if Tack can play anything like John Lucas Jr. did for Oklahoma St., LSU will a force. If Tack comes in trying to fit in and playing team ball, I think it is a huge upgrade to the team and LSU will be a force in the SEC this year. Your thoughts?
I just hope he doesn't make the turnover problem worse. We've been turning the ball over like a hot potato, and that hasn't been his strong suit in the past.
I hope Tack will play more consistent. He'll play like an All American one game, and the next game he'll have 9 turnovers. I do think this basketball team will be more improved when he gets back Saturday against ULL.
TAck is a guy who I thought always fought hard and played hard. He will come back out fired-up and be the leading scorer Saturday!!!
Tack is just way too out of control. He has NO offensive skills and way, WAY too many turnovers. just my .02
Would you say that to his face? I've seen Tack make some sick moves in the paint and hit killer lay-ups. He's also proved that he can hit the occasional three. Tack is a good player and he will continue to get better. Just my .02
