Suppose Zook does get fired?

    Any chance the ole ball coach heads back to Gainsville? I tend to think no.

    Take this for what it's worth, but I was told by someone close to the orginization that Spurrier would agree to come back if asked. Again, take it for what it's worth.

    I wish it were so...I am currently a grad student at Duke, and they could certainly use him...however, there is no chance in hell this happens...especially after another weekly drubbing against UVa today. Nobody cares about football here...I bet there will be larger turnout for the basketball scrimmage here tonight than at the football game today.

    If Spurrier would come back to Duke, watch how the mood in that college town would change....and quick.

    sadly, i don't think it would. sure, they would improve, and maybe people would even show up for games, but it will never be a football town. this is coach K country....spurrier would never come back here...unless he was just visiting.
