Just got a pound and a half of fine smoked bacon fried. Looking at fresh tomatoes from the back yard and some MexiCali lettuce (who knows where that stuff comes from). A little mayo and another cold beer.....

Life is good tonite. Am wonderin' how the poor folks are doin'. :thumb:

Last night I grilled steak and and ate it with fresh tomatoes and some good creamed corn out of the freezer that mom made.

    Finest kind.

Yum, that sounds really good. I don't have any bacon in the house so I need to go get some now. A few of my brandwine tomatoes are almost ripe. That is my favorite variety - it has a really good flavor. Not washed out like the modern varieties. Maybe I should make some homemade bread to go with.

Now where are my car keys.

For supper I had a steak and baked potato followed by a cup of rainbow sherbert. For lunch I will have BLT because I too have home grown tomatoes from my grandfather's garden.

Like Guy Clark says in song, "only two things that money can't buy and that's true love and home grown tomatoes."

    Dude....

You never HAVE to eat a Lucky Dog. Cyanide, strychnine, carbon monoxide are all perfectly acceptable alternate forms of suicide. :nope: :nope: :nope:
