So for my laptop background at the start of football season I had a Saints wallpaper of the team celebrating after blocking that punt against the Falcons last year. The Saints started 0-4. After LSU beat Florida, I changed this background to a pic of Dorsey and Beckwith tackling Tebow. The next week the Tigers lost to Kentucky. What? So I decided to attempt the reverse jinx. For the Auburn game, I put an Auburn wallpaper up and LSU won. I tried it again on Sunday, putting a pic of Joe Horn in Falcons gear as my laptop background. Saints won. This worked again last Sunday when I had a nice Alex Smith 49ers pic on my computer. So far this season, teams are 0-8 when they are featured on gameday as my laptop wallpaper. You better believe there will be a Bama pic on display this Saturday. What kinds of superstition tactics do you employ on gameday to help the Tigers get that victory?
I don't *watch* the game I have it on in the living room loud enough to hear it in the office where I'm sitting in the chat room with you guys that aren't *at* the game... and constantly asking 'what?! what?! what happened?!' Unfortunately I feel quite responsible for the loss to UK since I did run into the living room and watched the 3 OT's.
I "never" watch the kickoff...never ever...seems like every time I do the Tigers lose...watch it on replay...LOL :helmet::helmet::helmet::helmet::helmet::helmet:
I have my lucky boxer briefs...I only wear them for the LSU games and don't wash them unless they lose :insane:
I don't wash my socks or underware for days, whenever LSU has a big one and I wear them to the game. It works! Needless to say I am not popular at the tail gates. Who cares as long as the Tigers win. No high fives for me.
I changed the background on my phone from an LSU cheerleader holding up a "GEAUX" sign to the tiger eye in the middle of the field right before the Kentucky game. :angryfire Needless to say, I changed it back the next day when I realized what had happened and we won the Auburn game. I apologize to all of you and promise it will NOT change again until after we win the National Championship Game.:thumb: :geaux:
