Sec north- au,bama, tenn, vandy sec south- lsu, ole piss, moo state, fl sec east- ga, sc, Kent, wvu sec west- ark, tamu, tcu, mizzu Each team plays the three in their division then plays one team from each other division yearly with the teams alternating each year. That makes 6 conference games. Then the sec shortens the current schedule by one game to fit in a simi finals. During the simifinals the winners of each divison play. For example, the west plays the east and north plays the south with it alternating each year. The next year the east plays the south and north plays the west winners. That decides who goes to the sec championship game. Also move the sec championship game to tiger stadium west( Jerry world).
Sec north- au,bama, tenn, vandy sec south- lsu, ole piss, moo state, fl sec east- ga, sc, Kent, wvu sec west- ark, tamu, tcu, mizzu Rwilliams has probably the best one yet. That one makes perfect sense it has teams that will jump in a second and it preserves some natural rivals... This one I think could have some legs.
It sucks to me. I guess I'm a bit of a traditionalist when it comes to the SEC, Big 10, PAC-12, etc. It's all being done for $$$ not for what's best for college football, IMHO.
Now there is speculation that whatever remains (after those that flee to Pac12/SEC/ACC) of the Big East and the Big 12 will merge into a single conference.
Does anyone have ticktes they are selling for the LSU/Auburn game wknd (oct 22), or know of anyone who is? I'm from out of town and trying to find some tickets.... #gigemtigers
The possibility of a group of super-conferences teaming up and breaking off from the NCAA and making up their own rules is astounding to me. Yet, it could happen. The next 5 to 10 years will be interesting for sure. Did she really say "gigemtigers"?
