Given the scenarios whirling around about the potential of 4 super conferences emerging and taking over the college football landscape, where would they originate? We are obviously assuming the SEC would be 1. The Pac-12 and Big 10 would be 2 and 3. But where would the 4th super conference come from? Would the growing ACC be the origin of the 4th? If Texas and Oklahoma stay in and save the Big 12, could that conference be reborn into the 4th super. We have the SEC, Big 12, Pac-12, Big 10, ACC, and Big East. Which 2 will get gobbled up?

Big East and Big 12 will go down. Pitt and Syracuse have already left the Big East and it is perennially the worst conference in the NCAA. The Big12 wasn't bad, but everyone is leaving now, so the trend has begun.

Well, will Texas and others leave? That is the question. Since the PAC-12 isn't going to take more teams right now, could the Big -12 reorganize. Add WVU to that conference. Throw in TCU. They aren't dead yet.
