Over on one of our good buddy's forum (USC), they have many pictures and posts of the Rose Bowl being the National Championship Game. Heck, even USC's Athletic Dept's website shows the same thing. I can live with the fact if USC wins, whoever wins the Sugar Bowl has to share the title with them, but what I don't understand is, if Michigan wins, will they be considered to be the National Champions in the AP Polls???? NO! Whoever wins the Sugar Bowl will be #1 in all 3 polls! So, if this is the case, how the heck can the Rose Bowl be considered a National Championhip Game???????
One scenario is if Mich wins big and OU and LSU struggle in a sloppy game that some will put Mich #1. My guess as a protest to the BCS. The BCS did it's job. The 2 best teams are in the NC. Now if they want to provide a ruling for winning your conference title that can be done next year. As I see it Michigan has PLENTY of bullutin board material since USC is out getting fitted for their NC rings. I look for USC to go down hard and all of this crap will be moot by Jan 4th.
Yup! I too believe USC will soon face reality on the 1st. They will be facing their toughest opponent in two years. Go Wolves!!!!!
