JR v. Brady Quinn, this game will go a long way in determining JR's draft stock, especially if he can completely out perform the QB that everybody seems to think will be the #1 player drafted.
Good chance for JR to have a national stage where he can put up big numbers head to head against Quinn that all the experts claim to be the number one QB in the draft.
I really want JR back next year, because with him we have a great shot at making a run for the title. If JR has a better game than Quinn, his draft status will make it hard for him to stay another year. If he is projected to be the first QB taken, why play another season and take the chance of dropping next year?
Are you wishing for a bad game from JR? I don't believe we can win unless JR plays the same type game he played vs Arkansas, but I have been wrong before.
ABSOLUTELY NOT! I'm just saying that its like a catch 22. If he plays well, he leaves. If he doesn't, he stays and we walk over people next year. I do think we can win with a great game from him. All our players will be healthy, and our Def is gonna embarrass Quinn.
In a twisted sort of way, JR leaving and being an early first round draft pick would be very good for LSU. Us having a QB taken that early would go along way in helping to recruit the next great LSU QB. Plus, I think Flynn would do a good job also. Wow, i felt really weird saying that...
I thought the same thing right when I heard the news. Notre Dame's defense should help JaMarcus look like an ALL PRO.
