I dont understand how this is possible.

what does one have to do to have the hardest schedule in the nation. Who's schedule is even REMOTELY close?

Considering we beat the #3&4 in the polls, one of them decisively and the other at there house... don't think anyone can compare to that.
Not to mention we still have the #6 piggies, ranked UGA and possibly the #2 team for the NC... Yeah no one can boast that schedule.

    Easy.

Look at the records of Tennessee, Florida, Miss State, Kentucky, Western Kentucky and throw in the FCS team - Northwestern.

    That's 6 of our wins.

Be glad we scheduled Oregon and West Virginia.

Texas A&M widely regarded as having toughest schedule:

Here is who they have played so far (59-28 record against all other teams except A&M):

    1. SMU (6-4)
    2. Idaho (2-8)
    3. Oklahoma State (10-0)
    4. Arkansas (9-1)
    5. Texas Tech (5-5)
    6. Baylor (6-3)
    7. Iowa State (5-4)
    8. Missouri (5-5)
    9. Oklahoma (8-1)
    10. Kansas State (8-2)

    Remaining opponents
    11. Kansas (2-8)
    12. Texas (6-3)

By the time we play Arkansas, we should surge to #1. If not, Georgia definitely puts us over the top.

By year's end, LSU's opponents projected to have an 88-44 record vs everyone else except LSU. 67 % winning pct is pretty dang good.

It helps A&M that they lose to their opponents while we beat ours.

A&m just thought they had it tough. Next year they will play lsu, bama, arky, auburn and then a tough Mississippi state and a who knows ole miss with a new coach. Having lsu , ark, bama and auburn back to back would be a tough hill to climb. I hope they don't make a bowl.

Exactly. We beat all of our tough opponents. That makes them look worse. SOS is hard to calculate because of the circular a beat b, b beat c, c beat a too.
