There was an article in the Daily Disappointmrny last week by Berry Tramel on why OU lost to KSU and LSU. Bob Stoops said it was because of poor tackling. He cited two or three examples of missed tackles for what should have been losses against Sprowles and Justin Vincent that ended up being long runs and/or touchdowns. Said if the Laters had made any of those plays, they win the games. :dis:  :dis:  :dis:  :dis:  :dis:  :dis:  :dis:  :dis:  :dis:  :dis:  :dis:  :dis:
On the flip side he could site in our game the fact Jason White was being tackled frequently.... Or the fact he was very close to being blown out in our game had LSU simply scored on two 1st and goals. Saban can look back at that game and see several places where poor offensive execution cost the game to be close.
 Guess he thinks he has the hardware in place to run the table this year. That Boomer Sooner Wagon should be loaded to go again. Too bad 60-year professional college student Frankenstein White is still at the controls. What's White's 40 time lately ... 5.6 I have heard in earnest, that's when he can actually run 40 yards at all :hihi: Oh, yeah, we gotta have another crack at OU & this guy. I hope White stays healthy all year (miracle) and gives OU a repeat shot (against LSU again) in the ERNGE bowl. Those Big 12 teams that Stoops embarrassed will hit White brutally and often in 2004 ... they'll be teeing off on him often as Baylor did in the second half of that game ... Stoops has got to learn that you don't run 70 points up on people ... OU's achilles heel is the blitz and an immobile QB ... and teams whipped badly by OU will be coming like maniacs after poor Frankenstein with nothing to lose. It's a long shot OU even finishes in the Top 8 with a BCS bid ... but I'm pulling for them ... after all, we were just lucky against OU
LSU blew far more opportunities in the Sugar Bowl than did OU. Get over it, Spurrier Jr, oops, I mean, Stoops, you lost. Move on, Dude.
