Good job with the blame the terrorists 100% reply. Very politically correct. I still want to know how Gore would have prevented 9/11 and how Kerry will keep America safer for the next 4 - 8 years. You have bashed Bush, but not endorsed Kerry. Do you believe in Kerry, or are you no more than a Bush hater? 9/11 and Iraq aside, what do you feel are the other main issues of this election, and where do you stand. I want to hear your opinions and your justifications for them. Or could it be you are no more than our little friend Crawfish in disguise, and incapable of providing a reasonable, well thought out argument. We know you can copy and paste, but can you think and communicate those thoughts?
Kerry told stephenopoulas he has a double secret plan for the war on terror, but won't release the details until after he is elected. Steffie, also asked would he raise taxes. Only in a dire emergency, such as a war or something. Steffie then proceded to inform the Jigalo, that we were at war.
Seems to me, that if he really had a plan, he'd release some details of it to help him GET elected. Personally, I've seen nothing of this guy that would indicate that he's worthy of such blind faith. My own take is that the guy just wants to be President to fulfill a lifelong ambition, a la Bill Clinton...never mind that he doesn't have the first clue as to what being President entails (also a la Bill Clinton).
I'm not going to try to convince you to vote for Kerry. You should educate yourself and make that descicion yourself. As to whether Gore could have prevented 9/11 or not is speculatory, and I dont have a crystal ball. But if I had to guess, I would say Gore would taken warnings from the Clinton Admin more seriously, and probably wouldnt have cut spending on tracking and monitoring active terrorist, AL Qadea in particular. Among other things. But like I said I dont have a crystal ball.
You don't have a crystal ball, nor do I, so we cannot say the way Bush has handled 9/11 is right or wrong, and we cannot say the end results of the Iraq war will be good or bad. All we can say is that since 9/11, with the steps the Bush adm. has taken, we have not been attacked on our own soil to this point. Many of the terrorists have converged on Afghanistan and Iraq where they are engaging our military and being dealt with, not on our soil, but half way around the world, away from you and I. Is this or isn't this true. There was no crystal ball when the US backed Iraq in the War against Iran, etc.. No one knew Saddam would turn out to be such a brutal dictator. Conversely, we do not know what the situation would have been had the Iranians been allowed to take over Iraq. So now you are saying you don't know if the decisions Bush has made are right or wrong. Time will tell. Is that what I'm reading here? I am not saying there isn't more that could be done, but these things don't happen overnight in a bureaucracy dominated by partisan politics. The days after 9/11 were a good example of what united Americans can do, unfortunately we have quickly returned to the status quo that is politics in America.
Right or wrong, agree or disagree? Come on, Smax. Everyone has the right to have their opinion heard, and I have asked for yours.
Alright Smax, I'm cueing the theme to Jeopardy and putting you on the clock. Anyone besides me notice that Smax and Crawfish are both absent? Do I smell a conspiracy? Mindless arguments, childish avatars; could it be they are one in the same?
There both bitter from the last election, if thier candidate loses this time imagine had bitter and mad they will be.
Al Sharpton was the real deal. Al couldn't get any financial help from the NAACP. Marc, I'm not smaxcom2. Here you can use my shovel. Keep digging.
