Fat boy baseball worked last night. @APPTiger My guess would be Coleman. Wonder if Hurd would be available tomorrow if we get through tonight. He threw 65 pitches the other night.
We’ve gone farther than I honestly thought we would have so I’m just enjoying watching this team. I love it when we’re batting cause any one of them can do damage- even though JT cannot bunt worth a phuck.
Same here. Our pitching is just not deep enough. Make some base running errors and make more than our share of fielding mistakes too. Wake Forest is very good. They played App State on the mountain this year for the first time ever. We had an early lead but they wound up smoking us and we had the best team we've had in 20 years. If the Tigers can't win it all, I hope they do. They have sucked for so long at every sport but golf and a couple of good hoops teams. I spent the majority of my youth in Winston-Salem. We lived about three miles from campus. We had football and basketball season tickets for over a decade. I spent a lot of time over there and their legendary golf coach Jesse Haddock was a neighbor. In his pre- TV days, Billy Packer was an assistant coach there and golf buddy to my dad. I saw Brian Piccolo play, met hall of fame golfers, I've played baseball in their stadium, football in their stadium and basketball in their (old) arena. But it's gametime! GEAUX TIGERS!
