No it's not a dream, LSU plays in 2 days. :geauxtige Here's the first Power Ranking from Stewart Mandel. If we run the table and beat USC in the BCSNC game then we and the SEC jump USC. Up until now USC always get's the #1 Ranking to start each season.

I agree! Thursday night will not come soon enough. This last summer week before our first game reminds me of waiting for Santa as a kid. It's still hard to do.

 

All sports writers are suffering the last week before the games begin. They have to write about something. I will say Stewart Mandel's Power rankings are the best of what I see during the season. He honestly ranks teams where they belong with NO points for just being USC/Notre Dame or how they were ranked the week before. If they play badly or loose key players to injuries he drops them in his rankings.
