So do you all think steroids should be illegal? If you were a father or mother and had kids to and a spouse to feed, clothe, and put a roof over their head, and you could take a substance that helped you preform your job better, would you take it? Has anyone seen the documentary, "bigger, faster, stronger"? it got me thinking, so i started reading up on steroids. There are no long term health risks with taking steroids. So, if you were a baseball player who was on the cusp of being a major leaguer, and you could take roids to get a fat paycheck to take care of your bills, feed your family etc etc. why in the hell wouldnt you do it?
This guy says it should prolly become a controlled substance or better yet, banned completely. I am sure his family agrees.
yeah but so were xanax and hydrocodone, and prolonged exposure to these 2 drugs. plus.......... The physical findings announced by authorities indicate deliberation, not rage. The wife’s feet and hands were bound and she was asphyxiated, not beaten to death. By the account of the authorities, there were substantial periods of time between the death of the wife and the death of the son, again suggesting deliberate thought, not rage. The presence of a Bible by each is also not an act of rage. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chris_Benoit_double_murder_and_suicide#Toxicology_results
That's what they tell you because their proof isn't as clear as 2+2. There are a billion long term problems.
You actually think people have to die for their to be ill effects? Addiction, liver and heart conditions, stunned growth have all been attributed to steroids. Not to mention suicide from withdrawals just like any other addictive drug.
Alzado is probably most remembered today for being one of the first major U.S. sports figures to admit using steroids. In the last years of his life, as he battled against the brain tumor that eventually caused his death at the age of 43, Alzado asserted that his steroid abuse directly led to his fatal illness, but his physician stated it could not possibly be true. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lyle_Alzado
