Has there been any mention of the status of Joseph Addai? I have heard that some LSU press is reporting he did not practice at all this week and that his status for the game is not certain.

I thought I saw something that said he did practice this week earlier on one of the major Louisiana newspaper websites, but cannot find it now. Just curious if anyone here has seen anything remotely similar.

I can't recall whether he practiced, but I remember reading that he was expected to play.

Status of Addai for SECCG? . . . . Big, strong, and fast.

Seriously, Addai practiced and will play. He has a sore ankle but hasn't missed a game yet. Justin Vincent is getting more playing time to keep Addai from having to make too many carries, but he will play.

    You remember Vincent?

Article in the Houston Chronicle today (he's from Houston, so they had some quotes from him) seemed to indicate that he's going to be well under 100%, due to ankle sprain in the Arkansas game.

although the ankle has hobbled Addai much of the season, the recently sustained "deep thigh bruise" is not quite 100%, I'm told.

But even a 90-95% Addai should be enough for Addai to take care of some of the heavy lifting.

IMO, this game may come down to the team that has the will to remain committed to running the football for 4 solid quarters.

LSU is going to need a good day out of Joseph Addai :thumb:

Joe won't be 100%, JV will probably get the majority of rushes... if we beat UGA, it will be through the air

If LSU fails to successfully rush the ball, Georgia will win the game.
