Yes, this would have been front page news if this happened at LSU. There has been much discussion about the reputation of LSU fans in general. Consensus is that there are miscreants at every school, and sometimes it is the visiting fans looking for trouble. What is often overlooked is if law enforcement would be called, and if they would utilize their powers effectively, many of these incidents would dissolve without fanfare. The stabbings after the bama game is a perfect example of what could have been avoided with a little common sense, and most likely, a little less alcohol.

A fan screaming "Roll Tide" outside a fraternity house led to a violent altercation early Saturday that left seven Auburn students injured, five with stab wounds.
At about 12:30 a.m. Saturday, a person described by the Auburn Police Division as an unknown white male yelled "Roll Tide" outside of the Phi Kappa Tau fraternity house at 841 West Magnolia Street in Auburn. One person at the house confronted the person who yelled, and a fight broke out between the two males.
According to police, several others joined in the altercation, when the unknown white male suspect pulled a knife, stabbing one of the people involved in the fight. He then ran trying to escape the scene on Hemlock Avenue, with several people chasing him.
About a block away a second fight broke out and four more people were stabbed before the suspect again fled.
Police units, Emergency Medical Service technicians and the fire department filled the downtown area with flashing lights, treating the victims, searching the area for a suspect and trying to sort out what happened.
Police have been unable to identify a suspect in the incident, but are still working the investigation.

I always thought common sense and less alcohol were things frowned upon by both Auburn and Alabama?!?

Sounds like the guy knew how to use a blade. :hihi: You have to do what you have to do when attacked by multiple individuals. What the hell was he doing yelling roll tide after the game anyway? Dumbass. I hope everyone is OK. It would be stupid to die over an alabama fan.

Sorry to hear about this. It is a shame when people take things too far.

Without all the facts it is hard to say what happenned. But if you carry a knife and pull it that changes a roll tide into a whole different scene. Once he stabbed the first guy the rest should have just been interested in getting a good description and get the police.

    Hope everyone comes out ok.

This kind of thing is happenning too much.

Willie Wiliam, the criminal, is currently playing for Miami. He also seems like the official spokeman for Miami University football team.
