Does anyone know if Saban uses one to work with the team? I'm just wondering if they've had anybody talking to the kickers, because as close as this game should be, the extra point situation could very well come back and bite us in the a$$ again. On the pregame show Saturday morning, they mentioned how kicking is a lot like golf, and I know a lot of pro golfers use sports psychologists. My feeling is, the missed kicks can't be primarily from physical mistakes, because our coaching staff is too good not to have fixed it by now. It has to be mental. I love Saban's in your face style when a player screws up, but you can't use that on kickers, and I can't see where making jokes about it on the radio helps either. Anybody know what they've been doing this week about fixing the problem?
I don't really have anything to base my comment on but for some reason it seemed as if Jackson "got it" after the last missed EP. He seemed more relaxed and popped em through. I think he's past it.
My worry comes from when they have to kick another one with pressure on when the game is in doubt. I hope you're right. :thumb:
