Listen to what this guy says about our SOS.

"Nov4: LSU fans have been asking what their SOS would look like if Bowling Green and Marshall didn't back out on games with them this year. So, I replaced ULMonroe and W.Ill (1-8, 21-37; 1-3, 7-27) with the records of BG and Marshall (5-1,24-28; 5-3 23-41) in the SOS calculation. Get this, LSU's SOS would be 12th or 0.48 instead of 63rd or 2.52!!!.

Just another reason why the BCS sucks (except for seeding a playoff). Sometimes who you schedule is out of your control. Let just have a playoff dammit. Everyone call your congressman. I'm serious. Those wimpy Presidents don't know how much potential money they are missing out on. I was mildly interested in the Iowa-USC Orange Bowl last year, no offense to either team. Had the winner advanced in a playoff system I probably would have watched the whole game. There are too many good teams these days that picking two teams is ludicrous."

He needs to refigure it. I've seen so many people make this mistake....the loss of the Bowling Green game was LAST YEAR! That's the game that caused us to schedule The Citadel. It was not on this year's schedule.

ULM was not origininally scheduled for this year, because we were only going to play 1 LA school per year. So they replaced somebody, and I think it was Bowling Green. The problem is so many teams have backed out on us, it is getting too hard to keep up.

It was Troy State that was originally scheduled instead of ULM. We made an agreement with Arizona to each play a game before we met. Troy State was unable to move their game to the home opener because of a contract agreement with Kansas State, so we dropped them and moved the ULM game up a year.

Nevermind who was supposed to play us........

The point is teams backing out lately is really hurting our
    schedule and our team.
If we don't play Va Tech in the opener next year and we
can't find a good replacement what do you think is going to
    happen next year.

I use to be against a playoff but the more I think about it
the least I like the BCS, it is BS.......BullShit.

I don't care what anyone says teams like Miami(Ohio) shouldn't
be rated near teams like Oklahome, LSU, etc.

I am Totally for a playoff system, this is REDICULOUS

Basketball has a playoff system, Baseball has a playoff system,
Probably tennis and golf, I don't keep up with them.

The Point is Football is the only college sport that I know of
    that doesn't have it.

    I would drop 1 or 2 non-conference games a year, and then
have a playoff system using the Bowl game system.

I do think that with or without that the Price needs to go up
for teams that back out of agreements without a reasonable
    notice, maybe consequences also
