Hey guys... well weve been haveing the softball team at LSU since 1997! Tigers are awesome... britni sneed was awesome yes... shes moved on though... shes went to baylor to start her coaching life... and i dont know if any of you would know trena peel *TP* but she was also an all american who is now coaching with Shauntee Fremin at washington... so we should have an exciting year throughtout the country with the softball programs! If any of you went to Fall tourneys here at LSU this fall... the team is looking really well... we have about 7 new players on the team, with 10 players returning from last year. THe team players for 04 are: Junior Transfer Amber Brooks, Freshman: Kristen Hobbs #10, Beth Provest#7, Rebecca Bailey#00, Emily Turner#1, and Lauren Uhle. Sophomore Transfer (from ULL) Lauren Castle. The returning players are: Sophomores: Leslie Klein, Lauren Dellahoussaye#9, Stephanie Hill#3; Juniors: Blair Smith#27, Leigh Ann Danos#13, and Camille Harris#12; Seniors: Sara Fitzgerald#14, Julie Wiese#21, Kristin Schmidt#8, Ladonia Hughes#44. If you noticed Tessa Lynam and Alicia Owen will not be returning with the Tigers this year... Tessa has went to Baylor to Play softball with the coach who recruited her... Glenn Moore (lsu softball head coach in 2000). Alicia is not playing softball this year, she has moved back home to California!
