Embarassing. I'd feel bad about it but, you know, living a state and some 350 miles away makes it hard to set something like this up.

Let the Sooners have their little fun. Why should we be embarassed that they have to have an organized party in one place?

There are going to be a hundred thousand LSU fans in and around the Quarter and the Dome on game day and certainly tens of thousands of fans the entire weekend. It's going to be like Mardi Gras without all the annoying tourists!!!!!! Embarassing, who are you kidding??? We'll show the Sooners how to party before the game. We'll show them how to raise hell in the stands during the game. We'll punk their asses on the field. And then we'll show them how to celebrate a National Championship, LSU Style!!!!!!

What do you expect, we are from there. Most of us (And those in attendence) were raised there or within a 50 minute drive. I have been to Bourbon Street 6,000,000 times.

To them this is a vacation, to us we are simply going home. There is no excitement for us EXCEPT LSU. People vacation in New Orleans, I go there to visit my sister.

My point, This is a road trip for them, for us Bourbon street is about as exciting as a 7-11. I assure you Friday night in New Orleans it will be an OU fest. But come Saturday night and Sunday, they will be out numbered 5 to 1.. Trust me...

 

$100/person. F that. I rather tailgate for free with hundreds of thousands of my closest purple and gold claded friends.

True. The only time I even get to the quarter before 11:00 is if i am eating dinner at a restaurant there.

 

Wait until they get to New Orleans... I promise LSU fans will out number OU fans 2 - 1. They can say that it's the biggest party, but they need to realize that our STATE is holding the biggest party.

 

It won't matter one bit. Hell, the entire freaking city will be an LSU block party.
