I have been watching this devastation of my home State and the south in general. I feel like i have been kicked in the gut and i am in California. As i heard the reporter on CNN discuss that even tonight people are screaming for help still inside their homes and animals being alive and struck by power lines i feel myself getting depressed and i see the pictures of the flooding on the east and south of New Orleans. The help has to get their in force tomorrow. It just has too. I know these people should have gotten out but that is hindsight. They need to get in their with boats and more boats and more boats and get some help to those people. I am praying to God to let Fema and Help get to these people tomorrow when hopefully some of the water recedes.. I love LSU football and am looking forward to the season but i am having trouble even thinking about football right now. Take care of your familes and know that their are people praying for the safety and well being of them. God Bless all of the areas and hang in there. Help is on the way.
Although you can't think about football now, some people need it. My brother probably lost everything because he recently moved into a new apartment and did not have insurance. He has little to hope for now, except he did get season tickets Sunday. He wants to go to the game more than anything else right now. It gives him a little hope in this terrible time....
I am telling you... Sat will be a special night... There will be a lot of tears as our Tigers romp NT...
