ANOTHER ONE http://www.phinfever.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=1047 JUST LETTING YOU GUYS KNOW THEY R CONSIDERING HIM
:hihi: :hihi: considering him? let us know who he is considering then ya got us some news. we know everyone is considering him, we just aren't aware of the other half.
ok ok sry just surfing around and saw that the dolphin board was talking bout saben sry for the date being a month ago but the other link i posted is dec c'mon with the harshness
Sorry for the harshness, but after three years of "Saban to here" and "Saban to there", we all get tired of it. Since he has been @ LSU, he has been linked to jobs in Indy,Chi, J-ville, ATL, Cleveland, The REd Sox, The Lakers, and the Bruins. I would just ike 7 days w/o a Saban leaving thread. We all know it will happen sometime, but stop with the rumors.
Everyone has thier thing they want out of life, but with the comments I keep hearing about Saban and the NFL I have to ask why. Skip says it's not if it's when and it seems like numerous posters here have the same conviction. My question is am I the only one who doesn't see what the advantage in life is to coaching in the NFL as compared to the NCAA. I am not saying that I would never quit my current job for something else. But it would have to be a sweetheart deal. Saban has a pretty good deal at LSU, pretty much has the keys to the State. If all things stay the same I don't see the egotistical owners of the NFL giving Saban what he has at LSU other than more money. Just asking.
I guess you would have to ask Saban this question. I wouldn't want to coach a bunch of overpaid crybabies, but it appeals to Saban somehow. One big advantage in the NFL is no recruiting. That has become a year round ordeal now. Spurrier said that was one reason he wanted to try the NFL ... that and $5 mil a year!
That's what has me wondering. Everone else said Saban is leaving. He never said that he was. He has made the same comment you did about cry babies although in different words so I don't get it.
