that Davis is going to play football this year. They said that it isn't set which position he would play. Man, I'd sure love to see him at fullback. Any truth to this?

He'd be a beast in the backfield. Just think of the lanes he could open up! I wouldn't mind seeing him at Tight End, though, or perhaps Defensive End? Could we have the second coming of Marcus Spears on our hands? :thumb:

I believe he was an OT in high school. Pretty good one, too.

Someone post that video of him. He couldn't be brought down when he played in high school.

I seriously doubt this is true.

LSU recruited Davis at OT, he was 380 pounds coming out of high school. He briefly considered playing two sports but wisely picked one. Probably the right one.

But he could have been an All-American at OT. With his size and quick feet, no DE in the country would be able to overpower him or get aroundhim.

The more I think about this, the more possible I think it is. Obviously with him being such a big guy, there's going to be some talk of this. But what makes me think there's a possability of it being real is the currently opinion that Davis isn't first round material. There was a time where everyone thought he would be great in the NBA, but people have backed off that. And maybe he feels like he would have a better career with the NFL.

He was nationally ranked in the top 3 of potential O-linemen going into college. That would be really tough to do those two sports.
