Some team stats from the NCAA – Ole Miss/Ark/LSU

    Ole Miss
    Passing Offense – 104th
    Rush Offense – 85th
    Scoring Offensive – 109th
    Rush Defense – 108th
    Pass Efficiency Defense – 72nd
    Scoring Defense – 87th

    Arkansas
    Passing Offense – 11th (WV is 5th)
Rush Offense – 73rd (Oregon is 5th; Bama is 18th)
Scoring Offensive – 13th (Oregon is 3rd; WV is 16th)
Rush Defense – 74th (Florida is 45th; WV is 49th; Oregon is 56th; UT is 68th; State is 69th)
Pass Efficiency Defense – 21st (Bama is 1st; Oregon is 17th; Florida is 19th)
Scoring Defense – 30th (Bama is 1st; State is 17th; Florida is 20th)

    LSU
    Passing Offense – 99th (Bama is 71st)
    Rush Offense - 30th (Bama is 18th)
    Scoring Offensive – 18th (Bama is 25th)
    Rush Defense – 3rd
    Pass Efficiency Defense – 2nd
    Scoring Defense – 2nd

Not sure what any of this means for our last two games, but it appears we have faced the best offenses and defenses we’ll see in the regular season. If we bring our A game we shouldn’t have any problem with Ole Miss; Arkansas should be a close game, but we win.

Neither team can stop the run very well.

This is much more important in the Arkansas game. We can control the clock running the ball and doing some strategic play action pass. We'll keep their offense off the field and Wilson likely will never get into a rhythm. That's how you win that game easily.

Exactly. I have every faith in our defense, but the absolute best defense is to not let the other offense have the ball.

Make NO mistakes about this.......Ole Miss is absaloutley putrid!! That game should not be close......but the arkansas game.....the team had better play inspired football......personally I think this is going to be the biggest test for LSU's defense all year.....The big advantage I DO think we have is up front our d-line against their O-line....we are supposed to be able to get pressure without having to blitz....if thats the case it could be a long day for Arkansas! Our offense has got to step up and control the clock and score points against Arkansas.....just my keys to a victory!!

I would add to that GET SOME FREAKIN PRESSURE IN THE QB's FACE!

Did u see what Oregon's Defense did to a QB like Luck (who would be starting for many NFL teams today had he left early last year)???

    Pressure, pressure, pressure!

We never put pressure on Geno Smith and he tore us up.

    This must change...

For that matter, WKU was tearing us up until we decided to put pressure on them. They fell apart after that, but they played inspired in the first half.
