I thought these would tend to be interesting for fans of both teams who're here this afternoon...

    These are gleaned from ESPN.com

LSU holds the edge in total offense, 470ypg to 418ypg for UGA

LSU scores 47 ppg. UGA comes in at 30 ppg.

UGA allows 5.0 ppg on defense. LSU allows 9.0 ppg.

UGA rushes for 170.0 ypg. LSU rushes for 167 ypg.

LSU passes for 303.0 ypg. UGA throws for 248.0 ypg.

UGA completes 64.7% of its passes.
LSU completes 64.5% of its passes.

Sounds pretty darn even down the line...

Especially considering we shut out Arizona, save for a fumble by a true freshmen in garbage time for LSU on its own goal line, as well as another fumble by the same true freshmen.

Yeah, but we haven't been "tested" and UGA has. ;)

Thanks for the info, though, TE.

    here is another...

4 of the last 5 meetings between LSU/GA have been decided by a total of 10 pts.

hope the EMTs will be ready in Death Valley in case someone has a heart atack (preferably wearing red!)

...and this one will be close too. Guys (and Gals) this is going to be an SEC fight that has not been seen in quite a few years.

I hope that everyone goes home healthy and only one side goes home happy. All I can do is a fan is pray from this point on.

    :)

This will be the SEC game of the year and in the top 7-5 nationally!

Too bad we only meet this year and next (unless we meeting in the SECCG). This could be a good annual game much like UT-UF has been.
