I am sure glad that we don't have John Thompson as the DC. His team not stopping the run is just as much his fault as his players, if you noticed, on two of toe's 3 td runs, there was no second layer to stop him. his defense is so unorthodox, he confuses himself sometimes. If he didn't have a good secondary, his defense would be horrible.

I was suprised by how poorly hookfin played. He had been playing well all season, and yesterday he had an Erin Damond type game. dissapointing.

I feel better about next weeks game then I did before the Ark game. Two reasons. LSU commited 5 turnovers, and still won the game. They held Ark from scoring TD's after those turnovers, which was huge. If the Tigers had commited a few less turnovers, this is a blowout.

Also, I am glad Rohan played such a poor game. Thinking about it after the game, I wish he had played as poorly as possible, while still winning the game. Remember the poor game against Ole Miss? what happened the next week at Bama? He is going to come out fired up, and push himself to play a great game.

before the game, I though Auburn would win. Now,

    LSU 35--Aub 28

    Not sure I agree about...

...about Rohan having a poor game. I know he threw 4 Ints and had a fumble, but he also had 359 yards passing and threw for 3 TD's to six different receivers. Two of the four INT's were great defensive plays and not neccessarily bad throws, but despite the four picks and one fumble Rohan kept his cool, made his reads and still managed to throw for 359 yards, on 19 completions no less, about an 18 yard per completion average, not bad if you ask me.

How good is LSU to overcome five turnovers to a ranked team and still win the game. Auburn will lose to the Tigers 42-28. :D

    I agree somewhat

I don't think Ro had a horrible game, but I think internaly, he is far from satisfied in his performance, and he will come out smoking against Auburn

    Re: I agree somewhat

I hope you are right. We need a hot Rohan and a fired up defense to beat Auburn on Saturday night.

This is going to be a tough game with a lot of emotion. If Rohan gets going early, we will be tough to stop.

    Here's a prediction for you......

I do not have the good fortune to be able to see the Bayou Bengals play this year, but from what I've heard and read, the offense is playing with a ton of confidence, and the defense seems to be coming along (the stops of Arkansas, a team that was (is?) on a roll, after the turnovers should not be overlooked). Add in the fact that this is a program recognition game (a win propels them to the next -I didn't say top- level, and a loss might send them into a tailspin since it IS all right there in front of them), and I believe the Tigers will be ready, and the house will be rockin'.

    LSU 45
    AU 10

(having said that, anybody want to give me Auburn and the 6.5 pts?)

    :D

    Will be a tough Game

I see this game going to the wire, LSU has a clear advantage being at home, that matters in the SEC (except when playing Florida) Auburn will be ready and so will LSU, the west title and the rights to a beating from Florida are on the line. Prediction: LSU 24 Aub 23 on a last second FG by LSU. Bowl Picture for SEC:

Florida - Rose (will win NC)
    Tenn - Orange
    USC - Citrus
    GA - Outback
    LSU - Cotton
    Ark - Music City
Ala - ? but will get one
    Aub - Peach
Ole Miss - may be a bigger draw in the Cotton or Peach because of Eli, but they are going somewhere.

During Bowl Season I root for all SEC teams, even UT and GA. I wish you guys the best of luck this weekend, and dont get me wrong I am just predicting in saying UF will beat you all in Atlanta, but you got to admit, they treated you all almost as bad as they did USC at home, and we thought we could beat them. R.Davey is playing much better and he will have to for LSU to have a chance against UF again. UF will be pulling for AU b/c they want the rematch and they will try to 70-0 AU if they can to prove a point. Anyway.....Good Luck.......Go Gamecocks
