I agree with you. Out of curiousity, who sent emails to who? I hadn't read about more emails. Just would like to know.
I heard that there was a group of Tiger fans that got, I think, 15 of the 25 or so AP voters email addresses and started emailing them a list of why LSU should be ranked above USC. This was started, I think again, sometime last week. By Friday, when I heard this on the radio, some AP voters had recieved the email up to 20 times. If I'm not mistaken, I heard this on Dan Patrick's radio show. Let's try and show a little class, play the under dog and go show Jason White and Bob Stoops what a real defense is. Let's see if they can hang over 14 on the Bandits...
Well, I knew about that. The tone of this thread indicates that people are STILL sending emails. I was just curious how he knows this and who's been writing to who.
I liked the idea of a FEW well thought out, TASTEFUL emails last week to state our case. However, I think it went overboard. I'm actually surprised they didn't find a way to screw LSU over and place Oklahoma right in the middle of USC and LSU.
Before the championship games I sent an email to a writer of an article that was about changes needed in the BCS. My email suggested adding that if you lose your conference championship game you should not play in the BCS title game. I gotta nice reply back saying that he agreed with me. I cant remeber his last name but his first name is Artie.
You guys are partially right about emailing AP writers. The ones' who are non-biased or neutral should be left alone. But I refuse to sit back and let the LA times sports writer insult LSU just because I fear he may not vote LSU #1 in the end. Guess what, if USC wins of course he is going to vote USC number one. Your point is moot. If I see anyone being disrespectful, then they will hear some harsh feedback. I am taking the olive branch and shoving it right up their ass.
