Yep, it's true my son is on the Syrian border of Iraq and I chat with him every day I get the chance, which by the way is never enough, but he is blessed with the ability to get online every day and I aim to take advantage. Tonight had a special impact as I know my son follows LSU football closely. I had the opportunity to give hime a play by play overview of the game as it was played tonight so he might enjoy it, I typed while my brother and Dad relayed the info, so I didn't get to see the game but it was worth it (got it on DVR). I also feel responsible for getting him to join the forum (cause TigerForums is the best) and his handle is desert13EN6@L. So please, if you encounter him say a kind word. Never the less, enough of this of this dribble, great win for the tigahs and my son in Iraq! God bless our soldiers and bring them home safe!!!

Its true I am in Iraq.I am in the communications feild so I am more fortunate than most soldiers here are. This was the closest I have been to actually watching a game thanks to the great family I have.

I get most of my info from these forums and I am thankful for what you guys post on here. But I am also disappointed in some of the fans that put out such a negative image on their so called favorite team. I wish that so many of you didnt bitch about the coach, he isnt the one on the feild playing. They have come this far and how they got there has been a tough road and we should be glad that we have come this far.

GEAUX TIGERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!SEC TITLE ON THE HORIZON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm crying for two reasons, one cause the Tigahs won but mostly cause I'm so proud of my son and the liberties he does not get to enjoy.

Thank your son for me, TigahBait.

The tango he pops there isn’t over here. My wife and the girls went shopping at the malls today; those crowds would make tempting targets for a Jihadi, if he wasn’t laying dead in the sand and streets of Iraq.

I hope he stays sharp and comes home safe and victorious. :usaflagwa

First and most importantly, THANK YOU for doing what you do. I pray for your safe return and soon too.

Although I criticized early on, I've come to the conclusion that there's no need to bitch as long as we're winning. I'm still not sold on Miles as a HC, but you can't argue with 10-1 season at this point, SEC West championship, and outright SEC championship within reach.

Thank him, I tried to talk him out of it, he is a better man than I. I hope to give him a play by play of the SEC championship game this year and watch it with him next year!

Welcome aboard! We are glad to have you. Thanks for your service to our country.

People write things that appear to be very negative and ugly from time to time on every message board. Other posters should take these kinds of overly negative messages as a challenge. Not the kind of challenge you get when somebody wants to duel you with pistols, but the kind of challenge that you get when you need to talk somebody into changing their mind and opinion.

Even if one of us feels compelled to post a negative comment, we should try very hard to mention something good about the coaches or team in the same post with the negative comment. In other words, we should moderate our own posts. We'll be less likely to make others angry, and we'll post better material, if we follow that simple rule.

The coaches and players accomplished so much this season . . . they deserve all of our pride and praise!

    You do, too, Desert Warrior!
