No one will know till tomorrow night. I'm as confused as you now. Could be Rose, could be Sugar, could be Capital One.
Stupid USC...proves the Pac-10 sucks. All they had to do was beat UCLA and we're in the Rose Bowl, in my opinion. I'm just hoping we get in the BCS now.
I'm concerned that we just lost the invite to the Rose Bowl. UF will probably play Ohio and that leaves USC agaainst Michigan. Who knows where that leaves us... but damn! I really wanted USC in the Rose! Someone please convince me that I'm wrong.
Florida will play Ohio St. in the Nation Championship game. Michigan vs. USC in the Rose. LSU vs Notre Dame in the Sugar. I didn't say it was right....it's the result of the system we currently have.
I'd say that we are about as guaranteed of getting a BCS game as we could be. The SEC is eligible to send two teams to the BCS bowls. Florida is a lock now. As SEC champs they are going to the Sugar Bowl, unless they get selected to play in the MNC, at which point the Sugar Bowl will have the opportunity to select LSU to play against some other entrant (ND?). Our shot in the Rose Bowl is questionable at the moment. USC just backed into the game. As long as Florida doesn't overtake Mich. in the BCS poll, we should still have a great shot at facing USC there. If UF jumps Mich, then USC will play Mich in the Rose. So, where are we going? We'll have to wait and see. We have about 22 hours to go. The clock is ticking. BTW, anyone know the significance of this WVU-Rutgers game I have on now?
Why does everyone think that Florida jumps Michigan, remember Michigan lost to Ohio St by 3 points in their only loss. I think it may get a little closer but Florida had a lot of distance to make up in the polls.
Once Rutgers gets thru with losing (keeping fingers crossed), then we have only 2 scenarios I can see take place: LSU vs. USC in the Rose (if Michigan can hold off Florida for 2nd place in the BCS) LSU. vs. Notre Dame in the Sugar (if Florida surpasses Michigan for 2nd place in the BCS) LSU vs. Wake Forest in the Orange is a distance 3rd option
