ROTFLMAO!! Miles was voted Coach of the Year for the 2011 season by almost every single organization. Gundy did get one of the awards but Miles got the lion's share. Oh, and he has the best winning percentage of any head coach in football in LSU history. Oh yeah, Miles screws up a lot. Utter and complete nonsense.

You can come up with any creative delusion you want to but once again, 8 games were played on that field in a week. If you think ANY natural turf field can hold up to that, then I don't want you resodding my front yard. And once again, if the field was NOT an issue, why did they switch over to artificial turf before the next football season. They KNEW they had screwed up and they weren't about to let it happen again. Playing on the same field is NOT the same when you have a power team vs a speed team...never has been, never will be.

Of course the field was a factor. It nullified our speed. We lost. End of story.

Clearly 8 games on that field in a week took it's toll on the field. But with the rain that fell, not many fields would have been in good shape.

I believe if you want to call yourself a championship team, and want to be known as the best, you make things happen regardless of the scenario. Sloppy field or not, you do what you have to do to win. Forget the excuses. It was a loss, its over, period.
