I hope they NEVER wear those damn uniforms again...especially after that crappy 1st half. I cant recall what year it was but the Tigers played a game with white helmets & pants along with gold jerseys...those looked pretty good together, but Im all about tradition and and cant see them in anything other than the traditional purple and gold. BTW Im also an LSU grad and recall some discussion around 77-78 going with purple head gear and purple pants but that never amounted to more than just fodder.:geauxtige
Burn them. Or pawn them off. Just put as much distance between the playing field and those uniforms as possible.
I have to admit it ... . i LIKED yesterday's uniforms! Like most folks, i blanched when i saw them modeled last week, but on the players yesterday they looked good, a nice mix of old and new school.
Re: I have to admit it ... No mater what a fellow thinks about the hideous, faggoty design of the Nikeform, there is no excuse about failing to get the proper LSU shades of purple and gold. The "Nike purple" was too blue and it looked like Southern U was out there playing. Pantone 268 and 123. Get it right, Nike.
