That guy Scott on Southern Sports Tonight spent most of the night hosting Ole Miss fans who are in a lather over supporting Arkansas this week. First a Reb gets on who says that Ole Miss "handled" Lavalais and that Lavalais was "not a factor" in the game. Then they went to a guy named Rain Man who makes gambling picks, and he picked Arkansas to beat LSU by 10. This same Rain Main called in (surprise, surprise) from Oxford where he was attending a pep rally on the Ole Miss campus in favor of Arkansas. They changed the Hotty Toddy cheer to add in Go Hogs. I hope no LSU fans ever listen to that show again and I sure hope LSU crushes all those Ole Miss hopes. Amazing that they aren't done with us yet--they want blood.

When you're on top, everybody tries to knock you down. Screw 'em all.

Are they that penis envy that we beat them and we have a NC shot that they would hold an Arkansas pep rally? That is awful if it true...

    it's TRUE

The Hotty Toddy pro-Arkansas cheer was ON THE BROADCAST. It was incredible. Not one person on the program who wasn't hoping Arkansas would beat LSU.

Everyone is hoping that Arkansas wins because no one wants to face LSU.....especially Oklahoma.

Let's enjoy all of the "hating"

This must be what FL felt with Spurrier. I LOVE it.

Scott is from MS or spent ALOT of time there, but I find that they are not confrontational. They will let caller say what they wish.

Please, stop with the boycotting of anyone or any show that is not positive about us.

All that matters in the long run is SCOREBOARD and we will enjoy that for years to come. I've found that the tailgates are just as great and the beer just as cold whether the pundits apprecite LSU or not.

Enjoy this year; believe me, it was a long time comming with a lot of disappointments along the way.

didn't expect that from an SEC show, though

The reason I was so surprised was that the show pretends to be a broad-based show for SEC sports but at least right now there's a clear Ole Miss bias. You're right--I think Scott went to Ole Miss.
Just weird to hear him agree with the guy who said Lavalais was neutralized by their blockers, and to hear him tout that guy and then to broadcast the pep rally with the pro-Arkansas, anti-LSU cheer. But I totally agree with you that it's fun to be hated! On the Ark. board some people were saying they hated Saban! Now why? He doesn't have the kind of personality you love to hate like Spurrier did! It's great to be on top!

Ask Buckles and Manning if Lavalais was neutralized. I agree with YnotUs. We are the big dogs now so everyone wants to knock us off. Enjoy it. You don't see any "Beat Miss. State" pep rallies. Ole Miss is having to back in. They no longer control their own destiny. LSU does. Hell, I'm having a blast.
