The Mosul dam has been reclaimed, Baghdad did not fall, the Iraqi Kurds are advancing and have captured a Syrian border post. The air strikes have not been ineffective. Local allies have been participating and more importantly, writing checks. This air campaign has cost us a Billion dollars already.
But we're not at war, right? Just limited airstrikes with no boots on the ground. Where have I heard that description before? Oh, that's right. Pearl Harbor.
Another beheading today, a Brit this time and an American on deck.......this surgical bombing is scaring the shit out of these "15,000" fighters from an otherwise peaceful religion.
Awesome, he's a former Army Ranger too, let's not get a sense of urgency actually do something. http://www.foxnews.com/world/2014/1...-held-by-isis-went-to-lebanon-to-help-syrian/
They won't. They'll gouge the eyes of everyone else that has nudie mags who isn't ISIS and blame it on the US
Abdul-Rahman converted to islam since being in captivity. Somehow I don't think that will spare his neck.
Normally I might agree. I don't get the sense that his conversion was a life-saving attempt. It's sad to me. He's an American and he served his country. He came home, had hard times, and basically moved to Syria to help wounded civilians. If he thought converting to Islam would spare his life, he wasn't thinking straight. Isis beheads children. They don't care.
I doubt anyone will get to interview him to know for sure, that's the pity. His execution video will probably be posted soon while Obama sits on his lazy ass.....what a worthless piece of shit.
