i don't know how to spell that word but i certainly know i'm having a hard time talking right now after last nights game. we can all moan and complain about this or that, but we needed that game. it was the first game that everyone stayed for the full length of the game and it was the loudest tiger stadium has been since the auburn game last year. :geauxtige and geaux to hell ole miss!
It was pretty loud last night. One of the spookiest things of the night was the right before the XP. Did that place get quiet or what? It was like you knew something was going to happen. The guy behind said "whens the last time we missed an XP?" I told him "don't you dare say s**t like that!"
I wish I was there. Many thanks to the fans that showed their support. The team needed, and did fed on, the loud fans' support last night.
Who would've thought that the game that the fans stayed the longest for would be Ole Piss? I knew we weren't going to win by 28 but I still thought most fans would be gone by the 3rd quarter.
IMO, the 12th man gets the game ball for last night. The crowd tried to get involved through out the lack luster first half and 3rd quarter. An dthen by the time our football team showed up, the crowd served up the noise in large doses. Extra thanks to the student section when we had Ole Myth backed up against their own goaline late in the 4th. That may have bee the tightest huddle 've ever seen, and they still couldn't do anything. Congrats to Ole Miss players. They left it all out on the field and have nothing to be ashamed of. Huge shout out of respect to the opposing fans. After watching your team give up a 2 TD 4th qtr lead, you still made your voices heard. You did everything in your power to disrupt the Tiger offense driving into your end of the stadium in OT. But the best thing I saw y'all do was give your team a standing ovation AFTER a heartbreaking loss. The team deserved it and you guy delivered. Well Done! All in all, last night for the first time this year FELT like Death Valley. A full house, rowdy student section, and another big play at the end of a game with a division rival. In the last 20 years, I have been fortunate enough to have witnessed some of the best endings in college football (Earthquake game, Twillie's Int vs Aubie in '95, OT vs TN twice, OT vs Miss St, Ot vs Aubie, OT last night, hell even Arky's desperation Hail Mary last year). Holy Sh!t I love me some Tiger Stadium!
Yeah, I take pride that we had something to do with the back-to-back false starts! that was an awesome game to experience. BTW. I want to know if the guy who took pleasure into stabbing the beach ball and throwing it back in the student section post on this forum?
well im not hoarse but jeez, im not sure if ill live through college if we have many more games like that. funny thing is, i was pretty confident the whole time that we would find a way to pull it out, even on fourth down. was anybody else listening and watching to tiger vision on the internet. THE worst broadcast i have ever endured. made the arky game last year seem like heaven. the broadcasters had no idea what was going on, crucial things like reviews and penalties would be happening and they would be talking about orgeron and ole miss' future and then because of the crappy video quality you are left at their mercy for commentary because you cant even see the ball most of the time. my first indication that bowe caught the TD was listening to the crowds reaction, i couldnt see the ball and i knew i couldnt count on the announcers as we started on the final drive, one of the announcers goes "there have certainly been some exciting LSU last minute drives in recent years.....the blue grass miracle comes to mind". WTF? that was 5 years ago, 3 quarterbacks ago, and a different coach, it was two plays in nine seconds while we had 2:19 left on the clock last night with jamarcus russell, not marcus randall, at tiger stadium as opposed to at kentucky, and les miles not nick saban. when he said the first part i agreed with him, thinking that he was referring to tenn this year, ala last year, asu last year, even florida or aub last year, you know, games where JR was the quarterback and circumstances were a little more similar. ugh, very frustrating broadcast, luckily no more of that this year.
