If Michigan is ahead of us in the BCS I am done with college football. THAT'S IT! NO MORE COLLEGE FOOTBALL FOR ME UNTIL THE BCS IS DONE AWAY WITH.
That would be a huge load of crap! The ESPN talking heads mentioned the possibility last night. Because they beat Ohio State at home???? Puhleeeeze! They lost TWICE! Oh, they say, if they played every in "the big house" they'd be #1. Well, you can't play all of your at home, you idiots!!! Great football teams win on the road - sometimes against bitter rivals, conference rivals, and against other good or great teams! LSU did that yesterday. I hate the BCS. It's bad enough that it's got USC ahead of us, but if a two loss Michigan team were to move ahead of a one loss SEC champion... Well, how utterly ridiculous would that prove the BCS to be? It's time for a playoff. Hell, I'd be happy to have a two game playoff if things stay as they currently are. Give Oklahoma a bye, an let LSU and USC square off for the right to play Oklahoma...
It is BS but there is no way Mich would stay in front if LSU wins out. Hell we could even jump USC. Here is an interesting scenario. EVERY team loses their next game. The computer would burn to the ground and we would be left with real people rankings.
that makes way too much sense. it's better to have a bunch of crappy computer polls determine who's going to play for the NC.
i agree with COramprat.....even if they were to jump us there is no way they could stay ahead of us.....a slight chance USC could. We have to destroy the teams in our last 2 games and we will be ok.....whatever happens at this point is in our hands. the only bad thing is there will be a new Michigan love fest on all the national sports networks that no doubt would give rise to some interesting discussions here....
