I'm on that wagon... Was in the original thread as well. I also said before the game if LSU lost we wouldn't deserve one.
Go Auburn for sure. It does 2 things for LSU. 1. Bama doesn't get a 2nd shot at us after losing at home earlier in the season 2. LSU is GUARANTEED to go to the BCS CG even if we get blown out by Georgia
I don't believe Alabama deserves to go to the NC game. They had their shot at us and lost at home. That being said, I look forward to seeing LSU beat Bama again.
Which could taint a championship more? Not playing Bama again or a rematch? Its really not a situation that will satisfy everyone. Beat Bama against and people say, "So what, beat a team outside the SEC!" Avoid playing Bama and people say, "You really didn't beat Bama and couldn't do it again!"
I think playing Oklahoma State would help my blood pressure, however playing 'Bama would just be fine. Bring it.
The only people saying the latter are Alabama fans, and considering their recent opinions on message boards, I would ignore them. A true, legitimate title is one fought between two conference champions. We've already done the nonchampion thing... Guess how that turned out? It was the chief reason why LSU's 2003 title was split. Besides, LSU already beat Alabama at LSU. People need to get over that and send Alabama to the Sugar Bowl.
