Please read to end... Lag's Snowballs-Located on Old Jefferson Hwy between Tiger Bend and Barringer Foreman on the corner of Director. First I wanted to thank all our existing customers from when the snowball stand was "sugar bees" and thank all of our new customers. We have had extraordinary results and compliments ever since we took over which was a little over a week ago. As anyone who's ever visited us before has noticed we've painted the building red with white stripes and added an awning with some awesome music to listen to while enjoying those cold snowballs on a HOT day! We've also recently added some new flavors and kept around 60 or so of the originals. So a BIG THANK YOU to our customers! Now, our aim is to have the best snowballs in Baton Rouge. Many of you are thinking that it wouldn't be hard to do being that this is Baton Rouge and not New Orleans, but Baton Rouge has some very successful Snowball stands. Any advise would be much appreciated. If there are some flavors that we need to add, please tell us, any suggestions on what we are doing wrong or any comments on what we should continue to do, do tell. I'm also gonna try to figure out a way to reward those of you who give us good advise with a complimentary snowball. AND we are gonna be having our grand opening in a couple of weeks. What would you like to see at a grand opening? Free condensed milk on every snowball? Free icecream in every snowball(stuffed snowball-so good!) ? Thanks in advance to all of your wonderful advice! I remember when they moved your building onto it's location. I lived right down the street, 6 houses down. Good luck in your new venture.
I will need to stop by and yes Stuffed Snowballs are awesome. I usually go with Ice Cream and Dreamsicle. This may seem odd but say I order a medium in a large cup because I hate tops on my snowballs. Would I be charged for a medium or a large? Other than that I have no experience with snowball stands but I will surely give you my review after a visit. Good luck...
My wife's favorite flavor is very hard to find...Orchid creme vanilla...don't know what the mix is, but not many snowball stands have it. It must have been invented by a stand owner and not by the supply companies. I'm diabetic so I get the sugar free types; and there's usually no variety there for some reason...maybe they have a short shelf life, I don't know. If possible, I'd suggest more variety of sugar free flavors. Off topic, but my favorite NAME for a snowball stand is "Brain Freeze"...the name of a stand that used to be on Lee road in Covington, but it changed hands or went out of business. That name conjures up something good to have on a hot day. . Good luck with your business.
Would you consider shipping to California? DAMN I want a snow ball. Out here it is called shaved ice with limited imagination.

Just asking nicely to stay on subject and keep clean. Not trying to pick a fight. Please forgive me. Thanks.
Well, California snowballs were mentioned. Feel free to open up a Gonzales location. You'd make a fortune as there is pretty much nothing there as far as a good snow ball goes.
