Yeah, that's the big thing sticking out to me, too. On another note, ignorance of the law is never an excuse but I can see where the SIL could've bucked u and done this- sans political background. In the business world, it wouldn't be a legal problem. Being new to politics, on the highest level, at that, they had AND have a lot to learn.
