1. D. Toms has his A-game working and is tied for the lead at The Memorial.

Tiger just 3 strokes back, Jonathan Kaye is making a move and Couples is in the mix also. Best memorial tourney action I've seen in awhile and Tom's short game is peaking at the right time....... just two weeks before the US Open.
  2. Looks like it will be DT and Freddie in the last group tomorrow. Couples is one of my favorites, but he'll have to take a back seat to David tomorrow. Bring it home David with another 64.
  3. Don't count Slocum out
  4. I think you meant Jeff Sluman rather than Heath Slocum. I just looked at the leaderboard and there are 14 players within 4 shots of the lead including Tiger. Should be an exciting final round. Let's hope DT pulls it out.
  5. Hard to predict. Toms is a really streaky player with his medium irons, but the good news is that his streaks tend to last a couple of weeks at a time.

Couples is playing like a machine..... solid tempo, avoiding trouble, and using the belly-putter like it was made for his stroke.

Sluman and bryant are hitting putts rather than stroking them, so I'm guessing they won't stay on top the leaderboard.

Tiger prolly needs to shoot 65 today (Sunday) to have a chance, because it looks as if it's going to take 16 or 17 under to win it. Toms could easily shoot 5 under today, as could Couples or Jonathan Kaye.
  6. You're right about DT being a streaky player, particularly with the putter. Pefect pairing with Freddie, things will be loose
Got to wonder if Freddie's back will hold up for another 18. Just saw on Golf Central that he's wearing a back brace. The way Tiger's hitting the driver, I don't think he has a 65 in the bag on Jack's course.
