1. Yes, but it wasn't that expensive. Accurate as can be.
  2. It's a titanium 38+P. Because of it's light weight, 38's rattle the wrists. Heaven forbid shooting a 357 through something this light weight though I've seen similar guns rated for 357.

  3. That Blue moon is a pretty gun. And I agree with you. My 226 is my favorite gun. Sweet trigger pull and very accurate.
  4. This looks like a good home defender. On sale at the Academy for $199

  5. If you want to really rattle your wrists or bring down a bear: Ruger Super Redhawk 454 casul. I have to warn people nearby at the range before I shoot it.

not sure about if taxes or shipping.
  8. Whoa. Bet that hurt. I can only shoot 3 or 4 through that Ruger before I have to put it down. Bullets are more than a buck a piece too.
  9. That's a good price. I picked up a Remington 870 home defense at a gun show a while back. They say just racking the pump is enough to scare off the bad guys. My brother brought his 12 gauge auto home defense shotgun that we fired last week. His philosophy is that you don't want to let the bad guys know you're there before you shoot.
