My, my... the things we do waiting for football to start.
... 'tis sad in a way. Then, again, not.

O.K., no matter how you slice the pie in the SEC, the conference will finish with 48 wins and 48 losses.
Last year the SEC East finished with 23 wins and 25 losses and the West was 25-23 (Go West!!)

Having correctly picked the Big Ten (so my vodka told me late last night), I now venture a forecast upon the mighty SEC. I predict the East and West will finish with the same 23-25, 25-23 ratio... and as follows:

    East: West:
    UT 7-1 LSU 7-1
    Fl 6-2 Aub 6-2
    Ga 5-3 Ala 5-3
    USC 3-5 Ark 3-5
    Ky 1-7 Miss 3-5
    Vandy 1-7 MsSt 1-7

    23-25 25-23

    Thoughts.... am I close?

Looks pretty good. IMO you could switch Bama and AU. I think BAma will finish 2nd in the West, but JMO. And Carolina may break .500, but 3-5 isn't a bad prediction. Other than that I like em. Well, except for the whole LSU losing a game. BTW, who do you think LSU will lose to?

We have a huge unknown with a new coach and large part of the staff. Yep we are loaded with talent. Butthe jury is still out on LM and his staff IMO.

If you beat ASU and UT, you'll be in position to personally ask Pete Carroll where that other National Championship trophy is on display.... when you get out to the Rose Bowl.

If you're going to lose, my guess is it will be early, so Tennessee. Btw, you play the Vols the same weekend we play at Ohio State... that weekend will set the course for both of us.

Is PhatPhil gonna get arrested when he sets foot in Alabama this year?

Not arrested...But served...They are desperate for a dominant season from the team and a quiet off the field offseason, because when he finally gets slapped in the face with all mud he left across the state of Bama for that fiasco, it's going to get ugly...

His results on the field will be the only thing that can save his job...Because when it comes out he was alleging that Alabama assistant coaches were giving Bama potential recruit's moms the ole Baloney Pony in exchange for their favrotism of Bama, he is going to be, as they say around here, "In the Grease"...

I think Georgia is being underestimated. Tennnesse is being overhyped. Your probably right about Florida, Auburn & Bama - although though those two could switch in the West.
