when i was a kid i thought fancy cars means wealth but now i kinda think the truly wealthy often drive hondas. maybe the richest family i knew growing up had a 10 year old volvo. now i think of wealth as freedom and choice, never actual items. who wants any items anyways? i live in a fairly small apt that costs nothing and i could afford much nicer. but who cares. life is about experiences not items. if i was a billionaire i would live like warren buffet. normal house, normal car. if had anything expensive, and i would definitely have a fairly extensive colection of motorbikes, i would keep then hidden.
You should say "If i were a billionaire...." Use 'were' not 'was' for an unreal conditional like you have or subjunctives. It seems nitpicky, and most people are incorrect. But to my ear it sounds similar to "I be at the golf course..." I'm not an English nut, and make many other grammatical errors, but that's always been something that bugs me. That's all, carry on.
If i were supreme overlord of Earth, anyone found guilty of using the word 'irregardless' would spend a month in jail. Or suffer a 5 minute beat down by public pain inflictors.
i like to correct people and then purposely misspell grammar as grammer, then they go nuts with joy of the irony of me correcting them and making an egregious error myself, then try to convince them i did it on purpose. they never buy it. never.
it was in my mind because i read recently they put it in the dictionary. or at least merriam webster, the shit dictionary
