I can't believe all the complaining about whether the game should be played or not. It sounds like most of you don't want to see LSU football on CBS this weekend. Well, I DO! And if I had tickets, I'd find a way to get there. I don't think those who have tickets for the game are the ones complaining, it's the ones who are worried that LSU might get beat by Auburn(ain't gonna happen). You sound like a bunch of cry babies! If Auburn officials decide that the field is suitable ,and their fans want the game to be played, then it should be played! :angryfire :angryfire
It has nothing to do with wanting to see the Tigers on TV, of course we all do. People are worried about the saftey of friends, family, and fans who will be travelling to the game. And the fact that Tuberville thinks it is more important to have an advantage in a football game rather than have the best interests and safety of the travelling team and fans. This is what I would expect from Auburn. I say bring it on!
LMAO ... I'm not worried about LSU losing ... won't happen But to make LSU's team and fans suffer and make harships just to attend this game ... :nope: Ain't gonna happen ... but if you're such a big fan ... start for the game now, you should find thousands of tickets available ... probably for less that face value ... in a half-empty stadium ... thrill us with your devotion ... to stupidity http://www.2theadvocate.com/ That's the eye of this big MOFO ... still visible almost 100 miles inland Just saddle up your "Old Stud Leroy" and ride into town like Gary Cooper Geaux girl, geaux
I want to see the game on Saturday as much as anybody else but with the storm still a couple of hours from hitting Auburn there are too many questions still unanswered. Like how much damage will it do to Auburn? Will there be any electricity? Will police and other personel who normally work the games be occupied with emergency services? If Birmingham has a major power outage are they going to be working to restore power to a million people in the Birmingham area or 30,000 people in Auburn? How will LSU fans even get to Auburn? If they get there where will they stay? They are not allowing RVs to come to Auburn at this time and even for the fans with hotel reservations those rooms may be occupied by refugees from the storm. Alabama state law says that a person can't be evicted from a hotel room as long as he keeps on paying for it.
And the most important thing of all ... travel time ??? Ready to spend 20 hours on the road to see a war-zone ... if you can get there at all ... maybe a miracle will happen and this bad boy won't cause much damage ... you do believe in Miracles ... huh
