It started small in a reception room in the Pete Maravich Assembly Center in the 1980s. It moved to a Hooter's restaurant in Baton Rouge in the 1990s. It proceeded to an atrium at a casino and finally to a large banquet hall used for Mardi Gras balls in the Baton Rouge River Center. Link To Original Article
