LSU has received some good news from the NCAA Clearinghouse, but it was not big news. The NCAA office has cleared LSU defensive back Tyson Andrus, who transferred from Ole Miss after redshirting there last season and is a walk-on for the Tigers. Andrus (6-0, 170) played at Northside High School in Lafayette before signing with Ole Miss in 2005. Andrus received his equipment Monday night and practiced in the Tuesday afternoon session with other freshmen. The veterans are practicing in the morning as LSU has split workouts through Thursday.
