There is a head coaching opening at Alabama, and LSU offensive coordinator Jimbo Fisher dropped Bear Bryant's name Saturday at the coordinators' press conferences at the Sugar Bowl.
"I want to be a head coach," Fisher said. "I'm looking for an opportunity at the right kind of school, where I think you can win. And I'll give you an old Bear Bryant statement: Make sure the school has more going for it than your hard work. Make sure it's got the ingredients to be good around you. Because just because you have hard work, and the schools don't have all the things around it and you think you can win then you've got to be careful. And when you have the job I have you can be very selective in what you do."
