LSU fans may be expecting a return trip to the Final Four from the 2006-07 men's basketball team, but the Tigers will not even win the Southeastern Conference West, according to media at the SEC Media Days press conferences that concluded Thursday. The defending SEC overall champion Tigers were picked to finish second in the West behind Alabama. LSU received 13 of 29 votes for first in the West, while Alabama won with 16.
