At this point, I'm undecided. For the most part of me, I want to pull for every one of USC's opponents, however, I would also like them to go undefeated all the way to the Orange Bowl and let LSU serve them the swift kick in the @ss they deserve. What's a man to do?
USC is a good traditional program. I like both USC and UCLA. I will pull for them until it has some type of negative effect on the Sooners.
If the proposed changes in the BCS are accepted then look for USC to play for the MNC every year with their cream puff schedule along with playing in a very large media market(AP Votes). Meanwhile other teams in real conferences will beat up on each other in regular season and conference championship games and may very well get passed over. Look for BYU vs USC, TCU vs USC type matchups with an ocassional real team with one or less losses slipping in and smacking USC around. The proposed BCS changes are a real slap in the face to real football conferences and real football teams. If USC played in the SEC they would never even make it to the conference championship game much less win one. Therefore I will pull against USC in every single game they play even when they play those cowards from Virginia Tech. :angryfire :angryfire :angryfire :angryfire :angryfire
That's what I'm thinking. I wouldn't want USC to run the table this season and have to face LSU in the Orange Bowl because I would like to see a real game at the end. Even if USC runs the table, it proves nothing with their creampuff conference. Maybe if they do lose a few, the media might crawl out of their butts.
Screw USuck.. I won't ever root for them for any reason mainly because they are the medias darling and the whole situation from last year still has my hyde chapped. I don't dwell on it or care about it that much but just another reason to root against them.
Not no but HELL NO !!!!!!!!!! I would be just fine if they never won another stinking game. Freakin pansies went through last year and NEVER played a real football team, yet think they have the right to call themselves champions. BAH !!!! I wouldn't piss on them if they were on fire.
I'd just as soon root for Notre Dame as USC. I don't give a damn if they go 0-11. If LSU is good enough to get to the Orange Bowl the Tigers will face a worthy opponent who likely has played a tougher schedule that USUCK.
I would love to see LSU play USC in the orange bowl, but I hate them enough to hope that they actually don't make it that far. So I am torn as well.
As much as it is easy for me to hate USC because of last season, it is just as easy to not give a darn at all about them. What is very odd to me about USC is that it is very difficult to find FANS of USC that are passionate about their team. Because of this, I really don't care about how their football team does. What's the fun of an Orange bowl between USC & LSU if the fans of each respective team can not have a fun time together.
